I would play guitar for you, if I could. I'd probably get all the notes wrong anyway. I would make funny excuses as to why my poems were so corny. I'd get tongue tied when you'd ask me about my signing. You'd say something about how I should be a lyricist, always thinking up different ways to express myself. I'd probably say "Yeah. not really." I'd talk to you about everything. Even the stupid, childish things. But, I most certainly would never tell you, most the stuff I write, it's about you. |
